Who we are

Manchester & Cheshire Cherry Pickers provides operated cherry picker hire across the North West of England, and is the data controller for the information you give us. Contact: info@manchesterandcheshirecherrypickerhire.co.uk or 0161 399 2747.

What we collect

• Details you give us through our forms and booking form: your name, phone number, email, company, the job type, the height you need, the site postcode, your preferred date and any message.
• If you send a booking request or open a trade account: the date and time you accepted our terms and conditions, and which version you accepted.
• If you open a trade account: your company or trading name, business type and billing address.
• If you start the booking form and enter a phone number or email but leave before finishing, we may receive those details so we can follow up your enquiry.
• Records of phone calls and emails about your job.

How we use it

To answer your enquiry, give you a quote, arrange and carry out your booking, and keep the records we need for insurance, health and safety and accounting. We don't sell or rent your personal data, and we don't use it for automated decision-making.

Services we use

• Form submissions are emailed to our inbox through Web3Forms (web3forms.com).
• Postcodes you enter are checked with postcodes.io, and email domains with a public DNS lookup, to catch typing mistakes. These checks don't receive your name or phone number.
• Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and the map on our contact page from Google Maps.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Tag Manager to run Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement, so we can see how people find the site and which adverts work. Analytics and advertising cookies are only set if you accept them on the cookie banner. Until you do, Google may receive limited measurement signals that don't use cookies. We only set cookies that are strictly necessary by default, and we remember your cookie choice on your device. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's cookies and storage and reloading the page.

When you send a booking request or another form, we record that a form was completed (with the starting price shown) so we can measure which adverts lead to enquiries. This doesn't include your name, phone number or email.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide our service and meet our legal, tax and insurance obligations. After that it's deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to or restrict how we use it. Contact us using the details above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Any changes to this policy will be posted on this page with a new date.
