Who we are
Manchester & Cheshire Cherry Pickers provides operated cherry picker hire across the North West of England, and is the data controller for the information you give us. Contact: info@manchesterandcheshirecherrypickerhire.co.uk or 0161 399 2747.
What we collect
- Details you give us through our forms and booking form: your name, phone number, email, company, the job type, the height you need, the site postcode, your preferred date and any message.
- If you send a booking request or open a trade account: the date and time you accepted our terms and conditions, and which version you accepted.
- If you open a trade account: your company or trading name, business type and billing address.
- If you start the booking form and enter a phone number or email but leave before finishing, we may receive those details so we can follow up your enquiry.
- Records of phone calls and emails about your job.
How we use it
To answer your enquiry, give you a quote, arrange and carry out your booking, and keep the records we need for insurance, health and safety and accounting. We don't sell or rent your personal data, and we don't use it for automated decision-making.
Services we use
- Form submissions are delivered to our inbox by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co).
- Postcodes you enter are checked with postcodes.io, and email domains with a public DNS lookup, to catch typing mistakes. These checks don't receive your name or phone number.
- Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and the map on our contact page from Google Maps.
Cookies and analytics
We only set cookies that are strictly necessary by default. If we use Google Analytics or Google Ads measurement, it only runs if you accept it on the cookie banner. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's cookies and reloading the page.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide our service and meet our legal, tax and insurance obligations. After that it's deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to or restrict how we use it. Contact us using the details above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
